E-safety day

7th February 2017

Two pupils from Class Four were lucky to have the opportunity to take part in an e-safety day at the Maidstone Police Academy. They were involved in 3 sessions: PCSO Sue Kemsley identified ways in which to keep safe online including using the CEOP button (online 999); the NSPCC explained why it is important to be careful about the information and images you share online and finally a workshop by Kent County Council e-safety officer who highlighted the ways in which children can deal with cyber bullying. They are going to recreate these sessions to feedback to the rest of the school.
