For our first science experience, Class 4 learnt all about the human circulatory system and the importance of heart health. They performed a science investigation based on a selection of adults within the school and see how healthy their current lifestyles are and what they could do to improve this. By the end of the experience, the class will fed-back on their results (including data they have collected and presented in Excel) in the form of a non-chronological report.

The experience started with an extremely memorable hook- a dissection of a lamb's heart led by a veterinary surgeon. The children were able to clearly see the different parts of the heart as they were each explained by the expert.
