For our first experience this year we looked at rocks and fossils! 

We found out that rocks are much cooler than you think and that they can be formed in different ways! We also found out how hard it is for fossils to form and how long they take to form, which means they are really rare! 

We wanted to find out;

'Is a fossil a rock?'

We created a non-chronological report that we shared with year 6 to help them hunt for rocks and fossils when they go to the Isle of Wight. 

We also enjoyed sharing our own rocks and fossils with each other.
