For the next 2 days, we will be using our knowledge of statistics to answer a mixtures of questions on bar charts, pictograms and tables. Please see the set of questions to be answered below. |

Experience LO: To write a speech SC1: I can use my plan to write a speech SC2: I can punctuate sentences correctly SC3: I can rehearse my speech out loud.
Here is today’s tutorial. I have attached my example speech as well for you to refer to- not to copy! Keep your speech fairly short- three succinct paragraphs and a summary conclusion at the end. When you have finished writing, read it out loud to yourself a few times- think about where to pause, and how to change the tone of your voice. Try timing yourself to make sure your speech isn’t too long. If it is, can you edit it in some way?
