This experience is taking us all over the United Kingdom. We will be learning about the Countries within the UK and exploring what makes them special. We will then be using this knowledge to create a radio advert to persuade people to visit the United Kingdom.

We started our experience learning about London whilst enjoying tea, strawberries and cream. The children were able to write about landmarks such as the tower of London, the London eye, Buckingham Palace, the Shard and St Paul's Cathedral. We were able to identify the English flag and explain where London and England are. 

We then learnt about Edinburgh. We sampled some yummy shortbread! We learnt where Edinburgh is and we learnt about popular landmarks. 

After that, we learnt about Northern Ireland and tried some Irish dancing. We learnt about where Northern Ireland is and the popular landmarks in Belfast. 

Then, we collated everything we had learnt about the UK and we wrote our adverts.
