Maths LO: to understand how to add and subtract using formal written methods SC1: I can remember how to lay out my addition/subtraction SC2: I can remember to always start in the ones column when adding and subtracting SC3: I can exchange and regroup to solve number problems Watch my tutorial to see what you are doing today!
If you are not feeling confident with the formal written methods, practise your addition and subtraction using the sheet called - Addition and Subtraction Sums If you are feeling confident then have a go at the addition and subtraction assessment. English LO: to understand what word classes are and identity them in sentences SC1: I can name 6 word classes I have learnt about so far this year SC2: I can define the word class and give examples of each SC3: I can identify the word classes within a text Watch my tutorial to know what you are doing today.
Activity 1 (everyone should complete this) - match the word class to the definition and give an example of each one. Activity 2 - choose the green, orange or red chilli challenge and use a colour code to identify the work classes in the text. Check your answers using the answer sheet.
