Play leaders
Our Year Five children are play leaders and run lunchtime clubs for Key Stage One. We are currently recruiting for new play leaders so watch this space for more information about that clubs that will be on offer soon...
Music
Class music is taught throughout the school within the children's learning experiences. Once a week children have a singing assembly.
At Christmas, our carol singers regularly sing for the local community. We also show off our children's many talents at music assemblies and in special performances . In Key Stage 1 (classes 1 and 2) the children prepare and perform a nativity play at Christmas time. The Key stage 2 children (classes 3 and 4) join with the children at a Christingle carol service. The whole school joins with the community on Remembrance day at St. Paul's Church to remember those who have given their lives for us. In the summer term, the school band and individual musicians organise their own assembly, performing pieces that they have learnt and enjoyed over the last year.
We provide musical tuition for pupils via Music Station. Instruments include: guitar, piano, drums, click here.ukelele and singing. For further information about Music Station
