Let's Celebrate!

Alfie has enjoyed showing the class his art collection on our zoom calls this week. :) 

Charlie J has been challenging himself to answer all the questions about Mr Stink, demonstrating his understanding of the story – Keep it up! 

Connor has managed to create a piece of art work that has both organic and geometric shapes in it – super work Connor! Fantastic artistic vision ðŸ˜Š 

Dolly has been looking at Pablo Picasso. Look at the amazing work she has been inspired to create! Move over Pablo, Dolly is taking your place! ðŸ˜Š 

I am so proud of James’ comprehension answers. Not only has he answered everything but he has used evidence form the text and given reasons – absolutely fantastic!

Look at Jensen’s version of Cesar Manrique’s work. Fantastic attention to detail!

This week we have been thinking carefully about characters and Leo has created a new one for the book we are reading. Can you tell which character inspired him? 

Lucy wanted to show her fabulous spiral art work. A beautiful display of artistic talent – keep it up! ðŸ˜Š 

I am so pleased with Will’s Maths work. He has though carefully about presentation which makes his work accurate and easy to read. He has really demonstrated his understanding of angles here. Well done Will. 

Zuzanna has been looking at lots of artists this week and has created this beautiful piece by Paul Klee. :) 

Ben's artwork inspired by Escher - the repeating pattern and use of colours is so effective!

 

Leo is showing that Class 3 have some blossoming artists among them! National gallery here we come! ðŸ˜Š 

Connor has used a variety of lines and circles to create this really effective art work. Well done Connor! 

Make sure you have a look at the word documents and Powerpoint presentations the children have created. I am so impressed by their developing research and presentation skills. Keep up the amazing work!
