This week Liam told me about an alphabet challenge he has been doing and I thought that sounded really exciting, so I wanted to share it with you- just incase you want to try something new.
Each letter has its own exercise and you need to do them to spell out the words I will give you each day.
Todays words are:
Kindness and Challenge
Maths
L.O. To understand the place value of decimals
SC1. I can round to the nearest whole number.
SC2. I can round to the nearest tenth.
Please watch the video and then try the sheet attached below.
Don't forget to self asses your work.
Art
As we have run over we need to finish our drawings today. Please follow the instructions in the video below.
SPAG
We have covered pronouns before in our writing. This is where we looked at sentences such as…
“Cameron had his first day back at school today, Cameron was nervous about going to school. Cameron wished that he was friends with Marlon again so he had someone to walk into school with.”
In this sentence I have used ‘Cameron’ 3 times and the word ‘school’ 3 times! Using the same nouns over and over again can make our writing seem very immature. So we replace these nouns with pronouns!
There are three different types of pronouns. Copy the table down into your work book and then try and write 6 sentences underneath using two from each column. I have put done some examples for you.
Once you have finished there is a game on wordwall (5 raffle tickets for the winner, 3 for 2nd place and 1 for 3rd) and an activity on Spellodrome.

You can’t take that ice cream, it was mine.
Dad, who was very hot, went and got his own ice cream.
