At the beginning of Term 3, Class Two enjoyed learning about habitats and what every habitat must include. They explored different habitats and which animals would be found in them, particularly in the woodland environment. To show their understanding, the children worked in small groups to plan a habitat for a woodland animal of their choice. 

To finish the experience, we ventured to Seal to use their Forest School to build a habitat for a chosen woodland animal. They applied their creativity when utilising natural materials to create their habitat, ensuring it had shelter, space, food and water - the four basic needs of every animal.
