Welcome to the week Class 3!! It is the final week before half term so let’s make it amazing!

In maths:

We will be finishing our last 2 lessons on tessellation on Monday and Tuesday. For the final part of the week we will be revising the 4 operations that we have learned about this year (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). We are doing this to make sure those skills are always firmly embedded into our memory so that you can use them anytime you need them.

In English:

We will be finishing our stories!! Yay!! We are so excited to see the final product 😊 You will write the falling action on Monday, the end on Tuesday and then we will be learning about oral storytelling and using these skills so that you can record your own story. We will then be sharing these as part of our story time at the end of each day after half term. It’s going to be brilliant!!

Afternoons:

You will be finishing your art outcome and reflecting on the learning experience thinking about what you have learned, how you might find your new skills useful in the future and where you might like to take your learning next. We will also be doing an afternoon working on something to help with morale and motivation. There will also be so time dedicated to some physical exercise and some other fun things to round off the week.
